The 2012 Tournament officially kicks off on February 5 when campuses begin tracking the amount of recyclable, food waste and trash generated on campus.  The formal start of the competition will be preceded by two weeks of pre-season “trials” from January 22 to February 4, during which participating schools track and submit their recycling weights as part of the informal run up to the official kickoff. The informal results of the pre-season weeks will be posted beginning February 3^rd. The first official Tournament results will be posted online beginning Friday, February 17.
